Antique and Furniture Restoration
Since I founded Harry's Salvage & Restoration in 2017, I have always loved restoring antiques, bringing them back to their former glory.
I have lots of experience in restoring wooden furniture and antiques and I'm constantly learning new methods and techniques!
My first ever project was a Bovril advertising box from circa 1950. My Nan helped me clean it up and finish it in liquid wax. Since then, I went though my Grandparents house, finding items that I could restore, fix and sell!
When it comes to preserving an item, I only repair things that need it, for example; if you had a chair that needed a broken leg mending, that would be the only thing that would be done, unless otherwise specified.
"Harry is amazing. He restored an old Singer sewing machine & table for me. He exceeded my expectations with the work he did. He even got the sewing machine working.
Would highly recommend. Talented with outstanding workmanship.
Thank you Harry for doing such an amazing job!"

"Harry got back to me after a busy spell as he said he would, unlike the other 2 restorers I had spoken too. He was thoughtful, very helpful and did an excellent job sensitively restoring my mid century dining chairs which had been gnawed by my dogs over the years."
