Oak Siding Door

At a client's request, I made a sliding door to use as a room divider and to stop their cats escaping out the front door.

The door is constructed from European oak, stained using Van Dyke stain, which is walnut husks dissolved in water, and finished in Osmo Door Oil.
The door features a slat design that still allows light and sound through, yet stops the cats trying to break free. This project also included a bespoke banister for their stairs, which was stained the same colour.
